Optimum Architectural Window & Door Collections

Architectural Steel
Optimum not only offers windows and doors custom fabricated from steel, but also aluminum, stainless steel, and bronze. Architects value these systems for their structure and performance as much as they do the beautiful styles they can achieve. Available in fully-welded hot- or cold-rolled and thermally- and nonthermally-broken units with multi-point locking hardware.

Reliant
This line of fully-welded hot-rolled window and door systems ranges in applications from high-end homes to industrial ones. The large opening casements with narrow sightlines have been a popular feature with architects for over a century. Allowing for huge openings with massive glass lites creates a distinctive and unique look. Custom shapes allow for endless design possibilities.

An extensive array of factory-applied finishes is available, including galvanized, electrocoat primer, powder coating, and urethane enamels among others.

Flex
This line of fully-welded cold-rolled steel, stainless steel, Cor-Ten steel, and, architectural bronze allows designers to achieve almost any type of project by utilizing these four materials due to their unique properties, structural strength, and range of finishes.

Optimum Fire-Rated Window & Door Styles

Optimum Fire-Rated Windows

They brought about a revolution in the construction industry by providing an extensive range of fire-rated steel windows and doors, which are unparalleled in their comprehensiveness. These Fire-Rated Windows  have been subjected to rigorous testing, with fire ratings ranging from 45 to 90 minutes.

To ensure their durability and reliability, Optimum’s Fire-Rated Windows undergo multiple tests. The first test is a “heat test,” where the windows are exposed to temperatures of up to 1600 degrees Fahrenheit. In addition, these windows are also subjected to the “Hose Stream Test,” which involves sudden temperature changes, yet the glass remains intact. In contrast, windows made from materials such as aluminum, vinyl, and wood tend to suffer from thermal shock under such extreme conditions. However, Optimum Fire-Rated windows maintain their structural integrity even under such challenging conditions.
