Highlights:
We furnished and installed 50+ Zola wood windows and doors, which were Passive House Certified.
There are many obstacles to overcome when retrofitting a historical brownstone to Passive House standards. The installation detail for the openings and coordination of air tightness is critical.
It requires a coordinated effort across the teams working on the project, and our experience in the building standard helped move the project towards certification through the Passive House Academy (PHA).
