Historically Correct Wood Clad Windows

Highlights:
WindowFix supplied and installed 30+ custom windows and doors in accordance with Landmark and Energy codes.

This project included custom Marvin wood-clad windows with custom exterior brick molding, in addition to custom Marvin Integrity Wood Ultrex windows and doors in the rear. Because the front windows did not have simulated divided lites/ grids,  Landmarks allowed for the windows to be wood with an exterior aluminum clad. Landmarks did, however,  require the exterior brick molding to be made of wood. WindowFix had to find a way to secure the exterior brick molding to the exterior of the Marvin aluminum-clad window

We engineered a detail that sealed the exterior and was aesthetically identical to the original exterior profile. The general contractor, Masterpiece Construction, added an addition to the back and roof of this property. We coordinated the window and door waterproofing details and sizing for a seamless fit.
