A Unique And Stunning Unit in Brooklyn

WindowFix was thrilled to be part of an extraordinary project – the creation of a boutique condominium in the vibrant neighborhood of Red Hook. This venture was unique right from the blueprint, designed to be challenging, distinctive, and utterly remarkable. 

For one of the bespoke units on the second floor, our team embarked on a journey of window selection and installation that showcased our commitment to craftsmanship and customization.

At the forefront of this exceptional home, we chose to install Parrett‘s oversized archtop weight and chain windows. These windows not only wowed onlookers but also fulfilled the architect’s vision of flooding the main living area with natural light and providing breathtaking panoramic views. Fabricated with precision in white oak, these windows exuded a timeless elegance. A clear lacquer finish was all they needed to reveal their inherent beauty, complementing the overall design seamlessly.

For the rear of the condo, we turned to Marvin Signature Ultimate windows, an ideal choice for their decorative flair. With the option of two-tone finishing, we opted for Hampton Sage on the exterior and a clear lacquer finish for the interior, harmonizing effortlessly with the condo’s color scheme. These Marvin windows, crafted from Douglas Fir, featured Low E2 Argon gas insulation and were aluminum clad on the exterior, ensuring durability and energy efficiency.

These same Marvin Ultimate windows found their way into the primary bathroom, which was designed as a wet room. Given the high humidity levels in this space, we needed windows that could withstand these conditions without compromising their functionality or aesthetics. The Marvin windows were more than up to the task, ensuring that the residents could enjoy the views and natural light in this unique bathroom environment.

For a timeless and classic look with narrow sightlines, we opted for Optimum architectural steel windows in other parts of the condominium. Specifically, we selected the Reliant HR4700 fully-welded hot-rolled steel option, which featured a Super Durable powder coat finish. These steel windows added an air of sophistication to the interior, perfectly complementing the condo’s luxurious design. In the secondary bedroom, these windows provided a sweeping view of downtown Brooklyn, adding a touch of urban charm to the living space.

This extraordinary fenestration project was the crowning jewel of this luxury home. Not only did it provide ample ventilation and breathtaking views, but it also added a layer of serenity and quietude to the living experience, ensuring that the residents could fully immerse themselves in the beauty of their surroundings.
