This project was re-envisioning the windows at the former home of the Al Hirschfeld 20th century master of caricature.

WindowFix supplied and installed 30+ historically correct Marvin windows and doors in compliance with New York City LPC.
On one of the most sought-after streets in Greenwich Village, we married the classic and the modern with a custom-designed, LPC (Landmarks Preservation Commission)-an approved solution that met modern energy code.
This project featured a variation of six round-top, oversize 72” wide windows on the ground floor. On the parlor floor there was a unique pocket window with curved corners, offset upper sash with weight, and chain operation. The 2nd floor received a custom curved plane-bent insulated glass window.
Originally built in the 1920s, the 139-unit “Yankee Arms” received a building-wide window replacement.
